About

Hi there, I’m Daniel Hugo Miceli—a queer, gender-diverse Latin American artist, facilitator, somatic practitioner and storyteller dedicated to the intersection between wellbeing and collective liberation. My work weaves together diverse cultural lineages to guide others in reconnecting with their bodies as vessels for uninhibited creation and authentic expression.

My journey with this work began in 2012 where after a healing crisis where I was engaged in self-destructive behavior, depression and highly addicted–I bought a one way ticket to Peru, where I spent over a year immersing myself in the world of Amazonian shamanism and ayahuasca facilitation. This opened me to the profound power of ritual and plant medicine as tools for deeper awareness and connection to something greater. Over the next decade, I expanded my study to include yogic philosophy, Buddhism, mindfulness practices and somatics, weaving these traditions into a holistic, body-centered approach that honors diverse cultural lineages. Through my exploration, I experienced a profound shift–feeling more alive, creative, and developing an unwavering trust in life.

This transformation became my mission: to create pathways that support as many humans as possible to unlearn colonial and extractive frameworks and reconnect with this innate vitality and embodied wisdom.

I collaborate with leading organizations to advance trauma-informed healing, including helping shape Kiyumí’s Integrative Psychedelic Practitioner Training, mentoring trauma-informed breath facilitators with the Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release Institute, serving as a lead trainer for Kenaz Portal Multistyle Breath & Bodywork training, and am currently shaping partnerships for Nectara – a non-profit organization dedicated to making psychedelic integration accessible to all.

As the Founder of One Living Body, a wellbeing organization dedicated to making wellbeing accessible and inclusive, I extend this vision beyond my individual practice to community-wide transformation, creating systemic change through embodied awareness and collective healing practices.
